Leta 1994 sem izdal fotografsko monografijo KLICK, leta 2008 knjigo MRTVA ČRKA NA PAPIRJU, leta 2009 in 2010 pa še prvo in drugo izdajo monografije z naslovom NO CAMERAS.

I was born in 1946 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where I studied law and graduated in 1970. I started to work in the state administration, in 1973 pased the bar exam and after that continued to work for several ministries. As an amateur, I joined Fotogrupa ŠOLT in 1974 and soon began to win numerous rewards at exhibitions in former Yugoslavia and abroad. In 1977 I joined Designers’ Society of Slovenia (DOS). I started to work as photojournalist for several magazines and in 1979 joined Slovenian biggest daily newspaper DELO. It was fun, but I quit in December 1985 and started my own studio for commercial still-life photography.
Until retirement in 2011 I worked for numerous clients in Yugoslavia, Slovenia, and Europe. I still do. My specialty has allways been commercial studio still-life, architecture, and automotive photography, sometimes even people. My clients were major firms, factories, banks, museums and of course advertising agencies. I published articles on photography, mostly in magazines like MARKETING MAGAZIN and FOTOGRAFIJA. My first book, titled KLICK, was published in 1994, followed by MRTVA ČRKA NA PAPIRJU in 2008, and in 2009 in 2010 first and second printing of the book titled NO CAMERAS. In 2010 I began to give lectures on commercial photography on VIST (Higher School of Photography in Ljubljana), and wrote two textbooks - VIEW CAMERA and COMMERCIAL STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHY. From 2016 I have also been working for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC.
From the beginning I participated in numerous group exhibitions and had some exhibitions on my own. Several institutions like Moderna Galerija (Modern Gallery of Ljubljana), MAO (Museum of Architecture and Design Ljubljana), Kabinet slovenske fotografije pri Gorenjskem muzeju, Dolenjski muzej Novo mesto, NUK (National and University Library of Slovenia) etc. keep my photographs. I won several rewards, among others reward for calendar photography at Art Directors' Club New York in 1988.
